Abbie Bender

as Gloria

Abbie Bender is a 10-year-old homeschooler from Manteo. Her first exposure to a Theatre of Dare show was when her mom music-directed Annie up until her due date. Her parents and older siblings have been involved with many TOD Productions before and since. Abbie has helped with set builds and has appeared in Oliver! as a workhouse orphan and in Fagin's gang. She enjoys playing Minecraft, reading, playing the ukulele, and jumping off the downtown bridge. She would like to thank Jon Bender for casting her.
Brian Edwards

as Harry Roat, Jr.

Wait Until Dark marks the second appearance on the Theatre of Dare stage for Brian Edwards. He was last seen in our production of Bell Book and Candle. He just closed The Ghosts of Lost Colony and recently wrapped up his eighth season with The Lost Colony as Governor White. He has appeared for three seasons in the ER production of Bloody Mary and stage managed the original musical Peter Rabbit at the Elizabethan Gardens. Brian thanks his wife Jennifer, our director Jon, and Don, a good friend and great actor.
Tim Hass

as Sam Hendrix

After making his Theatre of Dare debut in 2013's One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Tim has become a regular in TOD productions, including Oliver, You Can't Take It With You, and Manly Men, as well as spending the last two summers in the OBX Mystery Dinner. A glutton for punishment, Tim will be making his directorial debut with Picasso at the Lapin Agile this Spring!
Mike Mazza

as Police Officer

Mike Mazza is excited to be performing in this awesome show with such a talented director, cast and crew! Mike has been involved with TOD for several years kicking up his heels in Diamond Studs and strutting in heels as crazy Mrs. Fletcher in Psycho Beach Party. Mike would like to thank his friends and family for supporting him and his fellow actors and hopes that you will enjoy the show!
