as Mrs Wormwood

Zoe (Mrs Wormwood) is 10 and this is her 5th show with TWT she also has performed in Descendants (Maleficent),Cats (Pouncival),Annie(Tessie)and Frozen(Elsa).When she's not acting she’s dancing,singing,reading and drawing.
Zara Marchard (Tues.)

as Hortensia

Zara (playing Hortensia) is 7 years old and is in 2nd grade at Florence Roche Elementary School in Groton. This is her first show with Theatre With a Twist. She previously played Princess Know-It-All in the show Princess Smarty Pants. When she is not doing theatre she loves to play piano, sing, take hip hop dance lessons, do gymnastics, box, ski, ice skate, play soft ball and lacrosse, and be a Brownie Girl Scout. Zara enjoys playing with her two rescue cats, and her fabulous friends.
Julia Weidman (Tues.)

as Mrs Phelps Cook/Big Kid 1

Julia is 9 years old in the Fourth Grade at Blanchard Memorial School. This is her second theater experience with TWT, having previously played Maurice in Descendants. In Matilda, she plays Mrs. Phelps, Cook, and a Big Kid. In addition to theater, she enjoys composing music, creating videos, singing, dancing, writing, and drawing.
Sam Belknap (Tues.)

as Nigel, Russian

Sam Belknap (Nigel) is 8 years old and in 2nd grade at Florence Roche Elementary School in Groton. This is Sam’s second show with TwT. In his last show he played Sandy and Star-to-Be in Annie. Sam has also acted at Concord Youth Theater and in theater programs in Bali, Indonesia. Sam has one little brother and one pet cat named Cleo. Sam likes to make music and draw and he loves to make stop motion videos with his friends.
