 Who's Who

  • Avery Duff head shot

    Avery Duff

    as Harriet

Avery has been involved in the theatre department at St. Johnsbury for the past two productions as a member of Tech for our production of A Christmas Story and on the stage as Les in the cast of Newsies.  She is also a member of the Band, Chorus and after school Rock Band.  In her free time she enjoys singing, reading, drawing and listening to music. She has enjoyed the fact that she had the opportunity to play the character she had read about in the original book. It has also been a childhood dream come true because she remembers pretending to be a spy when she was little.

Her favorite part of being a part of theatre  is  being able to express herself through acting, singing and dancing.  She would like to thank her Mom and Dad for their support.  Leo D-B, Rorie W. Vincent M. Callum McG. for their amazing friendship and  Ms. Joy,Mr. Darden,Mr. Johnson, Ms. LeFevre, and Mr. Lamothe for the opportunities they have given her.

  • Norie Laverty head shot

    Norie Laverty

    as Mother

While this is Norie’s first year on the St. J stage she has performance experience with Storytown Theater.  Norie also enjoys performing in the Chorus, Band and Jazz Band and playing the cello in the  EPIC Music program.  Participating in all these activities leaves little time for anything else! One of the things she enjoys most about theatre is that it allows her to spend time with friends as well as being able to meet after school with a new group of people that she normally wouldn't interact with.  She would like to thank her  friends for all doing theater with her, her  family for always supporting her and her  teachers for believing in her!

  • Brayden McGregor head shot

    Brayden McGregor

    as Father

Brayden has been a fixture on our stage since his 6th grade year.  He played Officer Ward  in our production of Annie , Scut Farkas in A Christmas Story and Jack Kelly in last year's spring musical Newsies.  When he is not on the stage he enjoys reading, drawing, playing his instruments and going for walks.  One of his favorite parts of being involved in theatre is the sense of community.  He would like to thank Ms. Joy for convincing me to be in theatre and his family always supporting him.
