Notes from the Director (Collin Sloan)
Welcome to Camp Half-Blood! It's incredibly crazy to think we are already onto our next annual production, but alas here we are! This year we were so excited to hit a new direction for our production with The Lightning Thief! As a kid, I was intensely in love with the original Rick Riordan book series and when I found out about the adaption of the first book into the musical I felt I was reverted back to elementary school and became just as engrossed with Greek Mythology as i was then. As far as our mission statement goes, this show fits perfectly within the idea of giving opportunities for local youth to perform within our community but also creating a production that can let all ages enjoy the art of live theatre! Thank you so much for coming to this production of The Lightning Thief and as always, I sincerely hope you enjoy this production as much as we did creating it. Most importantly, thank you for supporting the arts in your community.
