Welcome to the Show!
This Spring we decided to let the students take a little more control of the situation. After auditions, as the student recieved their roles, they began to work on the one acts as a team. They would then meet with me and go over blocking and I would add in some "suggestions". We also had a student director, who took the helm of the show, "The Philadelphia".
It was a bit chaotic and lots of fun! the students got to see for themselves what works in a scene and what does not. This is sophisticated material and they handled it with true aplomb!

One Final Thank You:
I'm not sure if everyone has heard the news, our black box theater is lucky enough to be the recipient of the Solebury Auction Special Appeal. The Auction was held last weekend and was a huge sucess. The generosity expressed and the support for the theater program is simply stunning. The amount of money that has been raised is unprecedented. You will al see some astonishing and beautiful changes to out theater next year!
Thank you to everyone who donated to our theater. I am overwhelmed by the spirit of this community.
