Greetings!
It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to the Sherman Players' 2024 season! This year marks my first full season as Artistic Director at the Sherman Playhouse, and I couldn't be more proud and excited to share in all the fun with this incredible community.
While we are thrilled to see you in the audience for this performance, please consider this your official invitation to join in on the action both onstage and backstage! The Players are actively recruiting volunteers to support set building and painting, box office and concessions, props and costumes, and, of course, acting in our productions--no experience necessary!
We also invite you to participate in THE COLD LEMONADE READING SERIES, where local playwrights can share pages from plays they are writing. And then why not come party with us at our popular Playhouse Karaoke Nights! Many moons ago, I was privileged to perform on this stage as a budding actress. The Playhouse you are currently sitting in is the very place that provided me with the opportunity to lay the foundation for my professional theater career. I am so grateful to the people of the Sherman Players who nurtured me at the very beginning of my artistic journey, and it is such a pleasure to get back to my roots and make theater with you all today.
