Dear audience and Odyssey supporters,
Welcome to the Odyssey Theare's initial distribution of some of its past productions via the Internet. Of course we yearn to be with you “live” in the very near future, but, meanwhile, we hope you enjoy these archival videos from some of our recent productions.
And when I say “archival” I mean I archival. These videos were shot at an actual performance from a camera in the audience. So, please excuse the occasional jolts of the camera, strange noises, an audience member’s head popping into the frame etc. All in all I think these videos are extremely watchable and, hopefully, enjoyable.
These productions are presented free to our audience, but, of course, since there are costs involved, a donation would be immensely appreciated.
Our highly successful production of PUNK ROCK ran from March 25, 2017 to May 14, 2017. It is not a musical or a play about Punk Rock music as the title of the play would suggest. It is a powerful emotional play about young adults and mental health issues. An important play by the critically acclaimed playwright, Simon Stephens.
Thank you to all the creative artists that made the streaming of this production possible.
In the near future we look forward to presenting a number of others plays inclduing FREUD"S LAST SESSION.
Live theatre may be dead for a while, but some of our past work still vividly lives on in these videos.
