After five long years of waiting, Tommy is positively thrilled to bring Falsettos to life on MTC’s stage! Tommy serves as the Artistic Director of this beautiful organization and has been proudly acting, directing, and designing in the DMV for the last 15+ years. Some favorite roles include Tateh in Ragtime the Musical in Concert with MTC, Man 3 in Putting It Together with Colonial Players of Annapolis [2024 WATCH Award Winner - Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical], Emcee in Cabaret with Silhouette Stages [2020 WATCH Award Winner - Outstanding Lead Actor in a Musical], The Baker in Into the Woods with Theatre at CBT, William Barfee in Spelling Bee with Artistic Synergy of Baltimore, and Gordon Schwinn in A New Brain with CCBC Catonsville. A few memorable directing credits include Spelling Bee with Compass Rose Theater (through 4/28/24! Go check it out!!), Agnes of God and RENT with MTC, Young Frankenstein with Silhouette Stages, and Hairspray with PLTC.

Emily is excited to be performing in back to back performances at MTC with her most recent role being Mother in Ragtime. She is honored to share the stage with such a talented cast and production team. Offstage Emily is a full-time nurse manager and mom to two little gremlins, oh and a grad student. Don’t ask me how I have time for it all, I don’t. I could not do this without the love and support of my family who have alway encouraged me to follow my passions. Shout out to my co-parent in crime Michael, an amazing dad, helping with this crazy rehearsal schedule. And to my love Jay, “who would I be if I had not met you?” Saranghae. Enjoy the show!

MATT WETZEL
as Mendel
Matt is thrilled to finally be performing in Maryland Theatre Collective's production of Falsettos! It's been a long road to get here, but definitely worth the wait! Other recent credits include Silhouette Stage's productions of Sondheim on Sondheim (Matt) and The SpongeBob Musical (SpongeBob), as well as Greenbelt Art Center's production of The Last 5 Years (Jamie). Matt would like to thank the entire cast and crew of Falsettos for helping put together such a wonderful production. He'd also like to give a big thank you to his incredibly talented and supportive partner AnnaBelle.
