Nate Summers
as Coalhouse
Nate Summers, from Cleveland, Ohio, earned his degree at Bowling Green State University and specialized in Acting and Directing on stage. He is most known for his work as Swing in Motown: The Musical National Tour and lead vocalist on Norwegian Cruise Lines. Other theatre credits include Aida, Dreamgirls, Little Shop of Horrors, Pippin, Songs for a New World, Radio Golf and The Boys in the Band. His film credit includes Finding Fish, directed by Denzel Washington. Nate is beyond grateful to be a part of this special project and prays to return to live performances sooner rather than later. Kristy Cruz
as Emma Goldman
Kristy Cruz (Emma Goldman) is elated to be making her Mad* Factory debut as part of this powerful show. Though this is her first virtual production, she has previously been seen on the stages of such theatres as Dobama, Blank Canvas, Lakeland, Near West, and Cleveland Public Theatre. Some of her favorite roles include The Who’s Tommy (Mrs. Walker), Chess (Svetlana Surgeivsky), Bat Boy: the Musical (Mayor Maggie/Ron Taylor/Clem), The Music Man (Marian Paroo), Urinetown (Little Becky Two Shoes, Penny), Sweeney Todd (The Beggar Woman), and Big Fish (Sandra Bloom). Kristy is incredibly grateful to The Mad* Factory for exploring this new medium which allows her to do what she is so passionate about during these uncertain times for the arts. Many thanks to Jailyn and Nina for this opportunity, and to Mom and Summer for their constant love and support.
