Laura Lowe is a native of Greenville, Alabama, who has lived in Columbus, GA since 1970. She has acted for years, but one of her latest appearances was in the Historic Liberty Theatre’s 2014 production of James Baldwin’s “Amen Corner” as Sister Boxer. She is a photographic Artist and a free-lance writer.

Jonathan Gilford
as Ray-Bud
Jonathan Gilford is no stranger to the Liberty’s stage. He has been in productions such as B.L.A.C.K, Dreamgirls, The Wiz, Our Town, Romeo and Juliet, and Purlie. He made his off-Broadway debut in The Reunion and then Four Men on a Couch at the American Theatre of Actors in NYC. He has also appeared on the tv series Friday Night Lights and the hit tv series Survivor’s Remorse.

Tosehka Williams
as Lucille
Tosheka "Nspyre" Williams began her dance with theater at Columbus High School and is no stranger to plays at the Liberty. She has been in several shows such as Rejalene, Purlie, The Amen Corner and most recently the 2015 production of Black Nativity! She dedicates her performance to her husband, Testify, their two children, and her very supportive mom who babysat thru all those rehearsals!

Vincent Bush
as Junior
Vincent J. Bush is a Columbus, GA native who loves to entertain. In 2013, he was in Elecia Fulton’s God Can Work it Out. Since then, he has been in several productions and worked with phenomenal directors and producers such as Cynthia Wilson, Donna Charles, and Lorenzo & Jaqueline Ball. Most recently, he was in Barbershop 3 directed by Ice Cube. Bush will continue to entertain for years to come!

Dr. Shanta McClurkin Patrick, is teacher, model, actress, singer, and pageant queen. She is the National Director for the Columbus, GA Chapter of Project Curve Appeal, was Mrs. Southeast Plus America, 2015, and is the co-author of the book, Crown of Thorns. Shanta and her husband Anthony reside in Columbus, Georgia with their two youngest children, Catherine and Marcus.
