DIRECTOR'S NOTE
Last Call Theatre decided to do Steel Magnolias back in the summer of
2021. Unfortunately, the dreaded COVID-19 hit. We gave it the old college try anyway, but finally we had to just shut the doors.
This year we decided to give it another try.
Originally, Marie Fertitta was to direct and I was to be co-director. But this time
around we switched and she is to be our back stage manager. Being flexible and working as a team is what it takes to produce a successful show. Sometimes it takes a village and we appreciate all the people who are a part of our little village here at Last Call Theatre.
It has been such a pleasure to work with this cast. We have made some
great moments and memories and it has been fun to watch them work
together and form new friendships. I know they are excited to give you their very best efforts in introducing you to the Steel Magnolias of Chinquapin Parish.
I hope you enjoy the show and will come back to see more of our shows in the
future.
