Katie is thrilled to be making her debut with Generic Theater and couldn't feel more honored to have this opportunity to work with such a fun and talented cast and creative team. She has recently started pursuing a Masters in Music Education from ODU where she performs as a classical soloist and chorister. Her past theater productions include Guys And Dolls at LTVB and various shows in high school. Katie would like to thank her friends and family for their support, but mostly her parents because they let their jobless college graduate move back home without asking for rent money.

Mary Jakobowski
as Lynn Gardner
Mary Jakobowski is very excited to be making her Generic debut. Mary, who has a BFA in Theater with a minor in music, has been performing for numerous years in theaters from Louisville, to Charlotte, to Atlanta, and now Hampton Roads. She is also a former member of the Atlanta and Virginia Symphony Choruses. A partial listing of roles include “Lili” in Carnival, “Shelby” in Steel Magnolias, “Snoopy” and “Lucy” in separate YAGM Charlie Brown productions, each of the 3 daughters in 3 separate Fiddler productions, and “Sarah” in Guys and Dolls. She feels honored to be cast among such a talented group, and happy to have found a new Theater home!

Angelica Yankauskas
as Chris Hargensen
Angelica is very honored to make her Generic Theater debut with the cast of Carrie: The Musical. A recent graduate of ODU with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation, she was bitten by the performing bug after being a performer in the ODU Jazz Choir for three years. She was last seen in LTVB's summer performance of RENT as Mimi Marquez, and as part of the ensemble in LTVB's AIDA. Angelica would like to thank her boyfriend, AJ, for being her role model on and off the stage, and to her parents for always teaching her that there is no cost to being kind.
