Austin Colburn (Sebastian, Choreographer) is thrilled to be a part of the Houston Premiere of Cruel Intentions. Graduate from Sam Houston State University with a BFA in Musical Theatre (emphasis in dance). Most recently seen in Secret Of My Success at Theatre Under the Stars, where he understudied Ben Fankhauser as Brantley Foster. Past credits include Regional: Rock of Ages (Joey Primo), Spring Awakening (Otto), A Chorus Line (Swing/ Don Cover), Jerome Robbins’ Broadway (Ensemble). Other: Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour), Heathers (Jason Dean), Newsies (Jack Kelly), Footloose (Ren McCormack). Julianne McBride has been performing and doing theatre for a whopping 21 years! She is thrilled to be cast in her first musical since the pandemic and to make her Garden Theatre debut, sharing the stage with this incredible cast and crew! She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in musical theatre. Her credits include Professional: Panto Cinderella (Cinderella). Collegiate: Heathers (Veronica), Hairspray (Tracy), Footloose (Wendy Jo). Other: Mamma Mia (Sophie), Little Women (Jo), Great American Trailer Park Musical (Linoleum), Chicago (Mamma Morton), Xanadu (Kira). Julianne also is a SFX makeup artist, and just released her first single titled “Cherries on Top” under the alias, Elysa McBride, streaming on all platforms. Since Covid, Julianne has found an abundance of success and acceptance within the Houston drag community as Houston's one and only live singing AFAB drag queen, Phoebe Seymour!
