The Anderson School

 Crew Who's Who

  • Sophia Flynn head shot

    Sophia Flynn

    Stage Manager

Hi, I’m Sophia Flynn. You might remember me from last year’s “Annie Jr.” as the lighting technician, but I got promoted to the stage manager! The best part of this play is how you might have a rehearsal where you want to bang your head on a table, but a week later the play comes together so perfectly you want to yell, “We’re going to Broadway!” and dance around the stage.

  • Maya Freeman head shot

    Maya Freeman

    Sound Technician

Hi! I’m Maya Freeman. I’m the sound tech for this production of Aladdin Jr. This is my second production at Anderson, and my second turn as sound tech. Although things may seem shaky at first, our amazing cast always pulls through. I wish everyone luck. Break a leg, you guys!

  • Naomi Schwartzburt head shot

    Naomi Schwartzburt

    Light Technician

I am Naomi, and I am the lighting technician for Aladdin Jr. I like being backstage and singing along to the group songs. Aladdin Jr. has been really fun and I want to continue being part of the Anderson School’s shows.

  • Mira Overbye head shot

    Mira Overbye

    Prompter

I’m Mira K. Overbye and I’m the prompter for Aladdin Jr. I give lines to the actors when they forget them. I have done five other productions before and this is one of my favorites. It’s nice to listen to all the music.

  • Lola Berger head shot

    Lola Berger

    Curtain Technician

My name is Lola Berger, and I am in charge of the curtains, being the “bad cop” backstage, and putting makeup on the harem girls in Aladdin Jr. I was in Annie Jr. last year as an orphan and a servant. The thing I love about our school play is that at the beginning, it looks like a big mess, with badly-timed cues and voices cracking, but later, it all comes together in an an amazingly perfect way.
