Director's Thoughts:
I am extremely proud of all of the actors in this production. It is the first production of the Tarrant High Drama Club for at least 10 years. Many of the actors in this production have never seen a play outside of a Christmas pageant, much less been involved in one. Their desire to be professionals and to take constructive feedback has helped tremendously in pulling this show together. They built the sets, managed lights and sound, learned multiple parts, and used all of their know how to produce this show.
Seniors - it is sad to see you go after this year. On the other hand, it has been a blessing to have your involvement in crafting this production. You will be sorely missed and I hope you will return to see the growth of the club.
Jamikal and Courtney - It has been a crazy ride navigating schedules and water lines, but both of you committed fully and gave it your all. You showed up to practice when few others could and you made hard choices. Your dedication to your craft is apparent in your final product and know that you are both amazing.
The rest of the cast - It has been my pleasure to work with you on your first high school performance. The joy and enthusiasm you brought to each practice and the fresh ideas and interpretations have made my afternoons complete for the last few months. I am thrilled that you decided to be a part of this production and I am looking forward to seeing you in future productions yet to come.
Message to the Audience - Welcome to our world at Vespucci's, the classy American restaurant named after the finder of America, where all are welcome. While some of our guests may be a little different I suppose, we believe in a diverse atmosphere as a way to create a dynamic and inclusive feel. While the food is limited, we know your mind will be satiated by the 26 different scenic entrees tonight. Lastly, thank you for patronage and we hope you will join us again in the future.
