Director's Note
It isn't too often that a group of high schoolers decides to stand up to the powers that be. When I chose "Footloose" for our musical this year, it was because the teens within it were passionate about who they are and want to be. When Ren comes to Bomont, he is just the change the town needs to really put things into motion. Our students are just as much catalysts for change as the teens in Bomont. Whether they become civil engineers, teachers, or join the military, each student has a cause within themselves waiting to find the proper place to grow, just like Ren. Break a leg, Rebel Players, and I hope that you enjoy the show.
