 Cast and Crew Spotlghts 

 

Kelsey Rich (Virgilia, First Citizen, Ensemble) is thrilled to be a part of this production of Coriolanus. She is a Theatre Arts major with a Dance minor, and a member of the class of 2018 at Le Moyne College. Her credits from this past semester include Juliet in Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, and Luisa in the student written and directed production of The Moon’s Romance. She is currently getting ready to spend the fall semester with the National Theatre Institute, where she will travel abroad to Russia to study at the Moscow Art Theatre. She would like to thank her director, the cast, and the crew for a lovely experience.

Marisa Valent (Virgilia, First Citizen, Ensemble) is thrilled to make her debut with the Syracuse Shakespeare Festival. Favorite past roles include Cinderella in Into the Woods (SPARE Productions) and the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet (Boot and Buskin). Outside of acting, Marisa loves to costume and direct, and has written 3 original shows, all of which have been performed at Le Moyne College, where she attends. Marisa is currently a Spanish and Theater Major, and will earn her Master’s Degree in Arts Administration. When not in the theatre, Marisa enjoys reading and collecting rubber ducks.

Christa Wirth (Valeria, Fourth Citizen, Ensemble, Assistant Director) is proud to be part of this production of Coriolanus, her fifth with the Syracuse Shakespeare Festival. She was most recently seen in last year’s production of Hamlet (Gravedigger, Voltimand, Player Murderer, Stage Manager). Christa is also the Artistic Associate of the SSF. She thanks Sara, the cast and crew for making this production amazing and the Production Board for the opportunity.
