Kimberly G. Grader (Sicinia) is ecstatic to be appearing in another production with the Syracuse Shakespeare Festival. She is a recent Le Moyne College Integral Honor Alumna with a B.A. in Theater and English, many minors, and working towards a M.S. in Arts Administration. Favorite roles include Wendy in Peter Pan, Belle in A Christmas Carol, Caroline Corwin in Love on Trial (Tully Council for the Arts), Anne in La Cage aux Folles (TheaterFirst Productions), Belle in Beauty and the Beast (Fun-Sized Productions), Ariel in A Tempest and Edith in Pirates of Penzance (Le Moyne College), and Alais in The Lion in Winter (Syracuse Shakespeare Festival), and many more. She has also worked with The Talent Company, Redhouse, and Gifford Family Theatre. She has 17 years of dance experience and opened the first two seasons of "Dancing With Our Stars." She would like to thank her family for their support throughout this production. She would also like to thank her incredible director Sara and this incredible cast who have made this production nothing short of pure block-out-the-sun dark magic. Enjoy!
Miquon Jackson (Caius Martius Coriolanus) has a blast studying and creating Coriolanus with this truly talented group of people. He is also humbled to be able to walk in the shoes of one of Shakespeare's most noble, yet terribly ill-fated, tragic characters. He looks forward to studying more Acting and Philosophy, volunteering with SSF's KIDS, and the Aids Red Ribbon Ride later this year. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Gracie Jarvis (Third Citizen, Ensemble) is thrilled to be in her first Shakespearean tragedy! She studied at Cazenovia College in Cazenovia, NY and at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York, NY. She most recently played Annabella/Margaret/Pamela in The 39 Steps at Open Hand Theater and Diana in the Syracuse Shakespeare Festival’s production of All’s Well That Ends Well. Gracie is an avid reader and writer and enjoys watching weird horror movies.
Allan Kolsky (Cominius) is the Principal Clarinet player of Symphoria. He has appeared as soloist with the orchestra in clarinet concertos by Mozart, Nielsen, Finzi and Weber. Coriolanus marks Allan’s 5th summer with SSF’s Shakespeare on the Grass—having previously appeared as Worcester in Henry IV Part 1, Aemilius in Titus Andronicus, Escalus in Measure for Measure and Chorus in Henry V. Allan would like to thank Sara, Christa, Caitlin and the rest of the cast and crew of Coriolanus for giving him a chance to explore this fascinating, timely and very relevant work with them.
Tony Ortega (Aufidius, First Senator) a California actor, is thrilled to be making his Syracuse theater debut. Some Bay Area theater credits include, Shrek: The Musical (Shrek), Take Me Out (Rodriquez), Arsenic & Old Lace (Brophy). He can also be seen in television's I Almost Got Away With It on DiscoveryID. Tony studied theater at San Jose State University and at the Meisner Technique Studio in San Francisco under Jim Jerrett.
