as Leontes, King of Sicilia

is thrilled to conclude her time on Syosset’s main stage with Leontes in The Winter’s Tale. You may have caught her in past shows as Black Stache in Peter and the Starcatcher, Callahan in Legally Blonde, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Oliver in Puffs, and Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Now however, she’ll be here to tell you the tale of Sicilia and it’s King Leontes. She gives her thanks to the cast and crew for all their hard work and hopes you all have a wonderful time tonight!
Sana Zakeri

as Hermione, Queen of Sicilia

is profoundly excited to be starring in her final production on the Syosset Stage in The Winter’s Tale as Hermione. To support her special love for William Shakespeare’s art, Sana has participated in multiple Shakespeare-related workshops and studies throughout highschool. Within her long list of theatrical experiences, her favorites include, Romeo & Juliet (Friar “Sister” Laurence), She Kills Monsters (Evil Tina), Chicago (Mona), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Sage Fairy), and Charlotte’s Web (Director). Sana will be majoring in Broadcasting & Mass Communication at SUNY Oswego in the fall, and plans on continuing with theatre, as well. Lastly, she would like to thank everybody in the cast and crew for putting this wonderfully curated production together. Enjoy the show!

as Mamillius, their son

is so grateful to be part of The Winter’s Tale! She had previously been in Peter and the Starcatcher (Mack), A Wrinkle in Time (Meg), and Seussical Jr. (Mrs.Mayor). She would like to thank the cast and crew for this amazing experience and can’t wait to end the year off with this amazing show!

as Perdita, their daughter

is so excited to be in this production of The Winters Tale. She has been in other productions such as Chicago (Ensemble), Into the Woods (Narrator), and Charlotte in “Charlottes Web.” Shes so happy to be working with a wonderful cast and hopes to continue on the Syosset High School stage!
