Jonathan Smith

as Mufasa

Jonathan is a senior veteran performer at VHS. He is also a member of the VHS marching, concert, and jazz bands. Previous roles include Hans Ice Queen: A Frozen Musical, Maui Moana Jr. Jonathan has also performed in The Nutcracker Ballet in Kingsport for several years. Jonathan is SGA President at VHS.
Lexi Hilton

Lexi is a musical theater veteran at SMS and VHS. She has a background in cheer and is a member of the VHS volleyball team. Past roles at SMS include Scuttle in The Little Mermaid, Mrs. Darling in Peter Pan Jr, Urleen in Footloose, Elsa in Frozen Jr, Cinderella in Into the Woods Jr, Ensemble in Matilda Jr, and at VHS: Hei Hei in Moana Jr.
Rhyann James

as Zazu

Rhyann is a Junior choir, theater, & track veteran at VHS. She is excited to return to the stage as Zazu! Previous roles include Tin Man The Wizard of Oz at Jonesboro Repertory Theater, also roles in Moana jr, Beauty and the Beast jr, Frozen jr, School House Rock, and Anne of Green Gables. Rhyann is also an all star cheerleader at Top Gun Academy.

Jackson is an 8th grade student at SMS. He is also a member of the SMS track team. His previous roles at SMS include Mr. Wormwood Matilda Jr., Narrator Into the Woods Jr, Olaf Frozen Jr, Racoon Twin Peter Pan Jr, as well as Ensemble Footloose and The Little Mermaid, Bert Mary Poppins Jr.
