Director's Notes
It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work on this staged reading of Chris Anderson's new musical Steadfast. The "birthing" of a new musical is always fraught with challenges - changing up tempos, tweaking song structures, even last minute additions. It has been an honor working with both Chris and a very flexible and talented cast. Kudos, too, to the Z's artistic and capable technical crew - they made our transition from the rehearsal space to the stage an easy one. The entire journey has been fun. I hope you enjoy the final product as much as I did the process!
