Jackie Martin (Director) Ms. Martin currently teaches fifth and sixth grade Science at St. Isaac Jogues School and is excited to teach students outside of the Science classroom! She graduated from St. Francis High School in Wheaton in 2011. During her time at St. Francis High School, Ms. Martin has been involved in all aspects of theatre, such as acting, set construction, running crew, lights, and costumes. Her favorite roles include Alice in Alice and Wonderland (2009), Jasmine in Aladdin (2010), and Natalie in the Elvis era musical, All Shook Up (2011). In 2010, her fall play cast was chosen to perform the drama, Auschwitz Lullaby, at the annual Illinois High School Theatre Festival at Illinois State University in 2010. She then went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Elementary Education from Loyola in May of 2015 and has been awarded Loyola's Presidential Medallion Award and the School of Education's Dean Award for her dedication to teaching.  Aside from taking theatre classes at the high school and university levels, Ms. Martin has produced the St. Francis Summer Musical between 2011 and 2015. She has also acted as director and playwright for the SFHS Young Spartan Showcase, a theatre program in which third through sixth grade students perform a one act. She currently directs the St. Francis Summer Musical Program for incoming seventh through twelfth grade students. Past directorial credits include Elf the Musical (SFHS 2016) and The Lion King (SFHS 2017). 

 

 

Nora (Collins) Lewis (Music Director) Mrs. Lewis is thrilled to be a part of this year's SIJ Musical and getting to know such wonderful and talented students! Having graduated from SIJ in 2003, it has been very fun to be the Music Director of Aladdin  Jr. this year. After SIJ, she went to Fenwick where she performed in all 12 Blackfriars Guild productions. She then went to St. Mary's College of Notre Dame where she earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Education and was also a member of the Pasquerilla East Musical Company at the University of Notre Dame. Her favorite roles include Maria in The Sound of Music (at SIJ), Belle in Beauty & the Beast (at Fenwick), and Roxie Hart in Chicago (at Notre Dame). She taught PreK-8th Grade music at Immaculate Conception-St. Joseph School for 6 years before coming to SIJ this year to teach PreK 4 year olds. She lives in LaGrange with her husband and two children.

 

 

Andrea Collier (Choreographer) is very excited to be working with the kids at St. Isaac Jogues! She spent the past six months performing at Drury Lane in Rock of Ages and 42nd Street. Other Chicago credits include: Pinkalicious, The Nutcracker, The Music Man, Hairspray, and Gypsy. National Tour/Regional: Hairspray National  Tour; North Shore Music Theatre: Footloose, All Shook Up, Legally Blonde, and A Christmas Carol; The Armory: The Wedding Singer. She holds a BA is Music Education from the University of Illinois. Last year she taught junior high general music. She choreographs for show choirs, dance teams, and musicals throughout the Chicago suburbs. Thank you to Jackie and Nora for being wonderful to work with!
