Director's Note

Welcome to St. Francis High School's Summer Production of Frozen JR.! Since 2007, SFHS Summer Theatre has hosted students entering seventh through twelfth grades and has had these students perform in various Broadway musicals. 

Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production. Through the relationship of Anna and Elsa, audiences learn the power of family and learn that love is the most powerful magic of all. The themes of this story encourage us to celebrate our differences that make us truly unique.

It is no secret that putting on a musical takes extraordinary efforts and dedicated individuals. I would like to personally thank my talented production staff who have been there every step of the way with our students this summer. I am blessed to work with such incredible professionals, and I know that our students truly work with the best. I would also like to thank my family, Ms. Raeann Huhn, Mrs. Kate Doane, all of our parent volunteers, and of course, the cast and crew students for making every summer fun and rewarding- they allow me to truly grow as a director and teacher! Lastly, I would like to thank YOU for your support of SFHS Theatre.
