Zach Mielke
Zach has worked over fifty shows for SCC since he began working here in April of 2008. He has worked as a professional rigger at Carnival Cruise Lines, technical director and shop manager at UMSL’s Touhill Theatre, technical director for the Riverside Shakespeare Festival, venue director for St. Louis Fringe, technical director for Ozark Actors Theatre, master electrician for McKendree University, and technical director for Dramatic License Productions. In addition, he has assisted contractually with productions for almost every theatre company in the St. Louis community.

Jeff Roop
Jeff has been with SCC since 2008 as theater manager and serves as technical director for all theatre department productions. He has done scenic and lighting design for over thirty productions during his career at SCC. He is a graduate of Lynchburg College and holds a BA in theatre with a concentration in technical production and sound, as well as a BA in communication. His experience includes scenic carpenter for Stages St. Louis, technical operations and event producer for Ampa Events, entertainment technical supervisor for Kings Dominion, production assistant at New Millennium Studios, technical director for Jefferson Manor Dinner Theatre, master electrician and sound designer for Lynchburg College, and performing arts teacher at T.C. Miller Elementary School for Innovation.

Amy Scheers
Amy is the Director of Performing Arts for SCC. Amy served as the Executive Director of the Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation. She produced many performances at the Fabulous Fox, including the inaugural productions of the St. Louis High School Musical Theatre Awards, and expanded the portfolio of programs. Prior to this position, Amy was the Director of Program Design and Production at COCA – Center of Creative Arts, where she led the organization’s efforts in achieving two national arts accreditations. For 10 years prior, she was COCA’s Director of Dance and the founding Artistic Director of COCA’s Ballet Eclectica. Preceding her tenure at COCA, Amy taught at Alexandra School of Ballet and was company manager and ballet mistress. She began teaching in New Jersey in 1995, at Montgomery Dance Arts. Amy earned her BFA in Dance Performance from Butler University and performed with Ballet Theatre Pennsylvania.
