Maggie Faherty

Student Assistant Directors

My name is Maggie Faherty,  I was part of the Stage Crew in The Lion King at St. Cassian School in 2020. I learned how much work is put in by the stage crew to put on a show. Watching the cast and crew work hard from day one to perfect the show was the best part of this experience.  I have had the pleasure of working as both Assistant Director and Scenery Design.  I have been able to experience two different aspects of show business.                                                                    

Arianna George

My name is Arianna and I am in 8th grade and will be attending Immaculate Heart Academy in September. I have attended St. Cassian for all 11 years and am an Assistant Stage Director alongside Maggie. I have attended camps for the past three years in preparation for working in production/directing. I attended a two-week class at Montclair Film which has taught me to direct, record, produce, and even act. This year I am so excited to be part of the St. Cassian’s Frozen Jr. and I am so glad we were able to do a play for my last year here.  During this show, I now have a  better understanding of what it is like to run a show and make sure everyone is in line.  I love the Love is an Open Door choreography and the sets.

Student Scenery Design

It’s my first year at St Cassians and it’s been nothing but a joy. I’m very glad to have been able to work on sets and help bring the show to life.

I have really enjoyed helping to make the sets with Mrs. Rafferty.  I am so impressed with the talent of everyone involved in the show.
