    Mrs. Jessica Garcia

    Director/Producer

Mrs. Garcia comes from a tight-knit family in the Sacramento area. Her choir teacher in high school changed her life by telling her that she could sing, even though she believed she was tone deaf. From that moment, her love for theatre and music grew, as did her self-confidence, and she ended up majoring in Theatre Arts at California Polytechnic: San Luis Obispo.

She is thrilled she is currently teaching theatre at SAP, and this is her eleventh year here.

She is proud to have directed: Annie Jr., Getting to Know The Sound of Music, The Lion King Jr., Beauty and the Beast Jr., Singin’ in the Rain Jr., Aladdin Jr., Frozen Jr., and Newsies Jr. BATB holds a special place in her heart as it was the first show she directed at five years of age during a family Christmas get together. She hopes this musical brings as much beauty, love, and hope to your lives as it has given her since it came out 33 years ago.
