We are so thrilled to be showcasing the incredible talents of the cast, crew and creative team of Spring Woods High School's Mamma Mia! “Thank you for the Music” and for making the music of ABBA come to life for our community. This production is the perfect choice for this season, and I thank each of you for your dedication to our production of Mamma Mia!
Mamma Mia is a juke-box musical based around the music from the band, ABBA. Active between 1972 and 1982, the Swedish pop dance group is one of the most popular international groups of all time. Donna, Sophie and her three dads weave a storyline that is intriguing, with tons of singing and dancing. With a universal theme of love, family and honesty, Mamma Mia! is a fun show with heart. What makes family? How do we reconcile our past and present? Love is Love.
My wish for each of you today is to leave with a smile, with an ABBA song in your heart and dancing as you go! Thank you for the music!
