Jessica Dolyk

Jess is so proud to be directing The Drowsy Chaperone. This show has been the most fun experience she has had in her directing career. Jess is honored to have worked with this talented cast and wants to thank each and every one of them for allowing her to direct them. Jess is a vocal instructor at Spotlight Performing Arts Academy. She performs regularly with her acoustic duo Act 2. Jess currently studies under Jane Edgren at her Vocal Fitness Studio. Music and theater are her passions and she hopes to share it with each of her students. Jess is excited for the next chapter of her life as her and her husband get ready to welcome their baby boy in June. She wants to thank this cast for not allowing her to lift a finger and for putting up with her baby brain during this process. Jess would like to Angela for the opportunity to direct this hilarious show. She would also especially like to thank her husband Brandon for supporting her throughout this process. 

Kaylie Yoder

Kaylie is 15 and a sophomore at East Mecklenburg High school. She has been with Spotlight for a little over a year. She is super proud of everyone in this show and is so glad I get to be part of the technical process.

Daryl Salinas

Choreographer

Daryl Salinas is very excited to be apart and help choreograph this astonishing performance of the Drowsy Chaperone. Daryl is a trained professional dancer, specializing in ballroom, Latin, and swing dancing and has even had the opportunity to train under Dancing with the Stars professionals, Gleb Savchenko and Karina Smirnoff. Along with his partner, Monise van Ginkel, Daryl competes in competitions year round while continuing to share his knowledge and experience with various students. He has even taken the award for top teacher. Daryl would like to thank Jess Dolyk for giving him this wonderful opportunity to work with a group of such talented individuals!
