Farafina Kan is an intergenerational professional performing arts company comprised of a youth, junior and adult company dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the history, integrity and representation of traditional West African drumming and dancing through high quality performance, artistic innovation and professionalism.

The 2014 Finest ThunderKatz! - This is a specialty marching unit comprised of a dynamic drum-line and exciting dance team. Directed and choreographed by veteran artist, Kashi-Tara Barett, these teens are top performers selected from the Finest performance programs. Kashi-Tara and The Finest Performance Troupes have led the region in capturing awards for over 25 years.
