Godspell - April 08 - April 10, 2021

Shamokin Area High School Musical

 End Notes

A Note from the Director

Welcome to Shamokin Area High School’s 2021 production of Godspell.  The students, you will see tonight, are an amazing group of young adults.  They have spent countless hours rehearsing and have transformed this show into a great work of musical theater.   What you will see tonight is a result of that hard work.  I am so proud of these students, as well as all the adults that have helped this show come to life.

Musical theater has always been a place where everyone involved can escape into a world that is different than our everyday lives.  Theater can allow the cast and the audience to experience a story that enhances emotion and fantasy.

I would like to sincerely thank everyone who was involved in making this production a great success. I want to personally thank the students for all their hard work, energy, and dedication to go above and beyond what was asked of them to create an outstanding piece of theater.  I, also, want to thank the parents, teachers, staff, administration and colleagues who are so willing to make sure that not only the cast has a wonderful experience, but the audience as well.  The past three plus months have been a wonderful experience that I will not forget.  Good luck to all the students.  I am very, very proud of you!!!
