Dr. Tommy Wu
Pit Orchestra Director
was raised in Bay Shore, NY and started playing the bass at 8 years old. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from SUNY Fredonia, a Master’s degree in Double Bass Performance, and a Doctorate of Musical Arts from Stony Brook University. He is the orchestra director at Sewanhaka High School and the adjunct double bass professor at Five Towns College. He was the guest conductor for Intermediate All County in Rockland County in 2024 and currently directs the Instrument Petting Zoo orchestra at Staller Center for the Arts. He likes horror movies, food, and petting his dog. He is a two-time championship winner of Sewanha-Con’s Smash Bros. Teacher Tournament. He is a proud PC gamer.

Nicole Ruiz
Vocal Coach
Nicole Ruiz is thrilled to return to the Sewanhaka stage as Vocal Director. Nicole was in Sewanhaka's productions of Phantom of the Opera, Brigadoon, and Hairspray. A 2019 graduate, Nicole went on to pursue her Bachelor's in Choral Music Education and is currently in her second year of teaching elementary general music and chorus.
Nicole would like to express her heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Doherty for this incredible opportunity, as well as to Ms. Lamb and Ms. Winter for their unwavering encouragement and guidance as she steps into this new role. A special thank you to Dr. Rodriguez for his continued inspiration and for motivating her to return to her roots in the world of musical theater. Lastly, Nicole is deeply thankful to the cast for welcoming her with open arms, allowing her to relive cherished memories and reconnect with her passion for the performing arts.

Tivanie Singhroy
Stage Manager
is a junior at Sewanhaka High School and it's her second year as a stage manager. After working with an amazing team during last year's "Kiss Me, Kate," she is so excited to work with them again on "Mamma Mia!" Tivanie would like to thank the directors, cast, and crew for all of the hard work and dedication each and every one of them have put into this show. As they say, here we go again!
