Valerie Winter

Ms. Winter is grateful to be back another year! Last year, she was the assistant director for "West Side Story". Feeling inspired, she decided to take on "Kiss Me, Kate". She would like to thank Starbucks for their continuing supply of caffeine. She would also like to thank Ms. Lamb for providing her emotional support, Ms. Hannah for teaching her how to dance, and Ms. Kerri for helping the kids sing. She would like to dedicate this show to her son (dog) Koda. A big thank you to the hard working cast and crew. ENJOY!

Melissa Lamb
Assistant Director
Ms. Lamb is an English teacher at Sewanhaka High School and is so excited to be a part of this years musical of Kiss Me, Kate. Melissa has been directing theater productions for the last 12 years and is thrilled to be working with the incredible cast and crew! She would like to thank Valerie and Chris for bringing her on board this year and her family and friends for their unwavering support! Enjoy the show!

Dr. Tommy Wu
Pit Orchestra Director
Dr. Tommy Wu was raised in Bay Shore, NY and started playing the bass at 8 years old. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from SUNY Fredonia, a Master’s degree in Double Bass Performance, and a Doctor of Musical Arts from Stony Brook University. He is the orchestra director at Sewanhaka High School and the adjunct double bass professor at Five Towns College. He likes horror movies, food, and petting his dog. He is a proud PC gamer.

Chris Doherty
Producer
Mr. Doherty is the Chairperson of Music for Sewanhaka and has produced several shows here at Sewanhaka. He is thrilled to be a part of "Another Openin' of Another Show" with the Kiss Me Kate cast this year! He would like to thank Valerie, Melissa, Kerri, Tommy and Hannah for all their hard work on this show, and congratulate the cast, crew and pit on aother great show!
