    Rosalind will be graduating from the University of Central Florida in the fall with their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting.They have been in productions of The Interference (Karen’s Lawyer, Cultural Commentator), See Rock City (May), The Crucible (Ann Putnum), And Then There Were None (Vera Claythorne), and The Tragedy of Hamlet (Ophelia).

     

    Rosalind is thrilled to have the opportunity to express their genderqueer identity through Petruchio and hopes this show will help those in the LGBTQ+ community take a breath and experience queer joy during these trying times. Rosalind is humbled and honored to lead such a talented cast in this production. She is inspired daily by their commitment and desire to support Finn's Place. They would also like to thank their parents, Kent and Michelle, for truly seeing them for who they are and for always being supportive. They couldn’t have put this show together without their support.

    Brad is the theatre teacher at The Oakridge School in Arlington Texas and has been teaching theatre for seventeen years. He holds a BFA in theatre performance from the University of North Texas. He has appeared in and directed many Shakespeare shows across the DFW area and in Breckenridge, Colorado where he appeared as Baptista in Backstage Theatre’s Summer Shakespeare show just four years ago. He is the author of the Paydunor Series and a playwright; also he starred in the romantic comedy film Ten Years at Sea. He is the proud dad of Robin DeBorde and married to his best friend, Katie DeBorde.

    Stage Manager

    Kenai is currently a student at Tarrant County College where she hopes to study Technical Theatre. Her career started in 2017 at The Oakridge School where she stage-managed numerous productions including And Then There Were None and James & the Giant Peach. After taking a short break, Kenai is making her professional debut in Taming of the Shrew where she is working with her mentor, Brad Deborde. She would like to thank both Rosalind and Brad for inviting her to work on this project with them, and her family for their unwavering support in everything she does.
