Artist Statement: The Rihanna Experience is a piece dedicated to women empowerment, and showcases the joy dance brings to me! By creating this piece, I’ve been able to create, learn, and bond with my dancers, which has been amazing. I thank everyone for making Dance Concert 2025 possible, and for making it one to remember. As a senior, I wanted to create a piece that showed who I was as a dancer, and this piece does it perfectly. This upbeat, technical jazz number is definitely one for the books.
