Ethan Isaac Beckwith-Cohen

Ethan Isaac Beckwith-Cohen is a Choreographer, Performer, and Teaching Artist. Born and raised in Rochester, New York, Ethan trained at Rochester's School of the Arts, Garth Fagan Dance, Borinquen Dance Theatre, FuturPointe Dance, and a plethora of Rochester dance organizations.  Over the last decade Ethan has

choreographed  over two dozen works, curated multiple evenings of dance, and produced community based projects in collaboration with local artists. Ethan holds a BFA in Dance from The University of the Arts, where (under the direction of Donna Faye Burchfeild) he has had the opportunity to work with artists such as Sidra Bell, Doug Varone, Tommie-Waheed Evans, Sara Procopio, Kim

Bares-Bailey, Mark Caserta, Katie Swords Thurman, Curt Haworth, Paul Matteson, Shayla-Vie Jenkins, Elisa Clark, Andrea Weaber and many others. Shortly after graduating from undergrad, Ethan returned home to Rochester to begin his career as a Company Member with Garth Fagan Dance, where he has received the great honor of joining the company’s rich 52 year

history , dancing alongside legends, and performing repertory that inspired him as a young boy.
