Hello & Welcome!

Thank you for supporting Carlisle's Community Theater and for joining us for our production of The Addams Family.  Our entire production team, cast, & crew have had fun & worked hard to bring this performance to you. I have enjoyed the opportunity to serve as producer or co-producer for our last three productions. They say the third time is a charm, and so now, 'Full Disclosure;' I will let someone else pick up the reins. My time is also up for serving on the board. I am grateful for these experiences and opportunities and thank you for your support over the years. Enjoy the show!  It's not just 'One Normal Night.'

History of SLOC

The Savoyard Light Opera Company has roots reaching back to 1971 in Maynard MA, when a group of Maynard townspeople produced H.M.S. Pinafore as part of that town’s centennial celebration.  In 1983, the Board changed the name from the Maynard Savoyards to the Savoyard Light Opera Company, recognizing that they derived their players and audiences not only from the Maynard area but also from all of eastern Massachusetts.  In 1988 SLOC moved it's performances to Carlisle, MA, & in addition to performing the works of Gilbert & Sullivan, we have presented other classic musicals chosen because of their wit and musicality.
