A Note From Dr. Adamson
It is with a full and very proud heart that I extend my gratitude to everyone who made this production possible. To our very talented cast members of “Annie, Jr.” - congratulations for the incredible dedication with which you have applied yourselves these past few months. I am grateful for the courage you have shown in your willingness to share your talents with others and cannot wait to see you perform.
There are so many more people to thank for seeing this production through to fruition. First, thank you to the Rose Drive PTA Board for their willingness in sponsoring, “Annie Jr.,” and their dedication to providing this theater opportunity for our students. A very special thank you goes out to Mrs. Chris Parmenter, who has been instrumental in spearheading things from the beginning. She has voluntarily sacrificed countless hours to this project, remaining involved in every planning and production aspect along the way. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the very skilled guidance of “The Huston School of Music”, specifically Mary Sherg and Kris Huston. Your steadfast direction and level of professionalism has been beyond compare. Finally, I would like to thank our large group of parent volunteers who have given countless hours to student supervision, backstage preparation and props, concession and ticket sales, fundraising, and program design. Your involvement ensures the continued extracurricular opportunities for our students at Rose Drive.
That said, I invite you to make yourself comfortable and prepare to be wowed by our students’ remarkable talents.

Annie Summary
Annie is a story that shines the light of hope onto a world that seems dull and lifeless. Surrounded by hard and unfair circumstances, little orphan Annie retains a positive attitude and a contagious hope for the future! Based on the popular comic strip, Annie tells the extraordinary story of a little orphan who ends up in the lap of luxury with Depression-era billionaire Oliver Warbucks. Unlike most of the other children at Miss Hannigan's orphanage, spunky Annie believes that her parents are still alive and will one day return to claim her. So when Mr. Warbucks offers to adopt her, she asks him to help find her real mom and dad instead, and he agrees. Warbucks' whopping reward for Annie's parents attracts the attention of con artists Rooster, Lily and the wicked Miss Hannigan, who hatch a plot to kidnap Annie and take the $50,000 reward. We hope you enjoy the show and remember that no matter what we go through there is always hope in a better tomorrow!
