Beginning with the 2000 production of My Fair Lady, Director JohnPaul Bertucci and his longtime Associate Director Michele Bartos took over the reins of the Riverview Musical program. Michele was a fixture of the Riverview stage, and her deep love of high school musical theater, her passion for teaching students the fine arts of dramatics, dialects, and stage movement left an enduring impression on the hundreds of Riverview student performers lucky enough to learn from her. Michele passed away in the fall of 2016, and we've been missing her booming laugh from the audience ever since.
We honor Michele Bartos and her longtime committment to the arts at Riverview, as we likewise honor the many other directors, producers, and production team members who have worked so diligently over the past 33 years on behalf of our students, and our community.
We welcome all alumni of Riverview musicals past - thank you for continuing support us!
