Cassie Kopper
as Truvy Jones
Cassie has performed at The Ritz and Lubbock Community Theatre(LCT). At LCT, she was awarded Best Female Performer of the Season for her role as Caitlin O’Hare in Over the River and through the Woods. At the Ritz, she was also awarded All-Star Cast at Area for her performance as Sherry in the State-Advancing Play Tigers Be Still. Some of her favorite shows she has been a part of are Greater Tuna, Annie Jr., Steel Magnolias, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, The Addams Family, and Blithe Spirit. She would like to dedicate her performance to God for giving her the gifts and the opportunity to perform, to her wonderful husband Brandon Kopper for joining me on all of these fun adventures, to her parents for taking care of her and Brandon, to her dog Tippi and cat Leon, to her family for always supporting these crazy adventures, and to this amazing group of women. We have had so many laughs throughout this whole process and it has been one amazing time!

Jacklyn has been involved in several camp productions at the Ritz Community Theatre and is excited to be portraying Annelle in this production of Steel Magnolias!

Melissa Rico
as Clairee Belcher
Melissa Rico returns to the stage for her second Ritz performance! She had so much fun playing “Peaches” in The Red Velvet Cake War that she just had to give it another go! She is excited to really “stretch” as an actress by playing the sarcastic and nosy, “Clairee Belcher.” Melissa and her husband, Bobby Rico, have three adult daughters – Brianna, Kelsey, and Megan. Melissa is happy to be a Snyderite once again so she can spend more time with her parents – Camille & David Fisher and Jerry & Shirley Hodges.
