Mrs. Megan Kern
Director
B.F.A: Emerson College. Mrs. Kern is thrilled to be in her 5th year at Ridge High as the theatre teacher, Drama Club advisor and Play/Musical director. She has a myriad of experience in theatre including actress and director. She founded the Ocean Co. Performing Arts Academy and Branchburg Creative Theatre program. She is an alumnus and former teacher/director at Somerset Co. Gifted & Talented Performing Arts Program and spent five years with the New Jersey Department of Education’s Performing Arts Task Force. She is a member of The Educational Theatre Association, The Speech & Theatre Association of NJ, The International Thespian Society and SkillsUSA. She would like to give a special shout out to her best productions – Andi and Jack!

Mrs. Lyndsey Schaefer
Music Director
Mrs. Lyndsey Schaefer (Vocal Music Director/Conductor)- Mrs. Schaefer is delighted to return for her fifth year of music directing for RHS with such a wonderful cast and production team! She has performed in countless musical theatre productions locally, regionally and on tour. Some of her favorite credits include "Phantom" (Christine Daaé), 'The Secret Garden" (Lily), "It's a Wonderful Life" (Mary Bailey), "Little Women" (Beth), "Sweeney Todd" (Johanna), and "The Wizard of Oz" (Dorothy) for which she was awarded "Best Actress in a Musical” for NJ’s 2010-2011 professional theatre season. She is also one of only 4 original cast members in the new Alice in Wonderland musical tour. As Cedar Hill's general/choral music teacher, she received the award of "Teacher of the Year" in 2013! She would like to thank Timmy Morrow for being such a wonderful assistant!!!
