Director’s Notes from Mrs. Kern
I first enjoyed a production of “Bye Bye Birdie” when I was 15. My younger brother played Conrad, and I enjoyed every minute of the show! Over the years I’ve listened to the cast recording over and over again. Although the show was written at the time it was set (1958) I think all generations will find many things to love about “Birdie."
I am so pleased to present my 10th production at Ridge to you tonight. This could not have been possible without the efforts of many students, staff, administration and parents. Special thanks to Mrs. D’Ambrosio & Mrs. Hull for founding the Drama Booster Club this year. It means so much to have so much support throughout this process. Thanks to my fabulous production team – you make me so proud! Set/Light/Sound Construction Crew - you never cease to amaze me with your abilities! Drama Club Officers & Assistants, congrats on another fantastic show! Happy 10th Show Anniversary to my hubby and Stew! Seniors: Watching you grow over the last 4 years has been so wonderful. I can't wait to see where your future takes you! I've been blessed with the best creative staff one could ask for - seriously you're the best! Thanks also to my parents and children who are so helpful and patient during tech week.
