is excited to be making her Richmond Shakespeare debut! She was most recently seen as the surprisingly iconic Mrs. Green in VA Rep’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (yes, she was also an Oompa Loompa). Rachel has performed on Richmond stages for over a decade, including two solo cabarets at Swift Creek Mill Theater. Notable roles include Jerusha Abbott in Daddy Longlegs and Woman 2 in I Love You… Now Change (Swift Creek Mill Theater, RTCC Nominations, Best Lead Performance in a Musical). She is excited to join her husband, Joel, in the distinct honor of playing Hamlet at the Gottwald without actually being in Hamlet. She’s even wearing his costume.

Full circle moments are beautiful and rare. The first time I was in Complete Works, I was single, gig-working, and taking on my first “leading” professional role in Richmond. Three years later, now an overjoyed newlywed, I had the privilege of directing Complete Works at Henrico High School: a career-favorite production. Now, here I am, visiting this piece one more time as a father-to-be in May. All my love to Anika and baby Catherine.
