| Notes from the Director: This is the inaugural Summer Mentorship Performance, and hopefully the beginning of another tradition of theater in the Richland County High School Theatre Department's season. When discussing the future of the program with Mr. Warren Weitkamp and Mr. Jeffrey Ryden, we determined our number one priority was to create educational performance opportunities for our students. Gleaning inspirtation from the alumni connections made by other programs in our school, specifically the FFA, we knew that this opened up an exciting opportunity to combine current students, former students, alumni, and community members into one performance. We hope that everyone involved is learning from the others, and growing in their own performance journeys, and we hope that you enjoy the fruits of their labor in this exciting performance of Steel Magnolias! |
