Legally Blonde The Musical - January 31 - February 03, 2019

Richardson High School

 End Notes

OMG this has been an amazing show to be a part of!  I have directed many shows over the years at RHS, but this is my first time with the musical.  I am not going to lie, I was pretty nervous when the process started.  There are so many moving parts to a musical.  With an enormous cast, a crazy schedule, and many departments to coordinate with, it is a daunting task.  But one thing became abundantly clear very quickly:  I am surrounded by so many talented people.  From the guidance of Cliff McClelland, who has always directed the musical, to the musical talents of Lindy Perez, Jesus Marques, Elizabeth Moore, and Roland Muzquiz, to the ability of Christina Hinchey to interpret my nonsensical direction into beautiful choreography, to the video talents of Brent Morton and his students, I was so lucky to have such a gifted team.  And then there is the reason we do it all, our incredibly talented students, who we could never do this without.  The actors, musicians, designers, and technicians who we have at RHS never cease to amaze and inspire me.  The leaders who step up in the company, such as the Stage Manager team of Jordan, Ashley, and Anna.  The Dance Captains Chloe, Ella, and Taylor who devoted so much extra time to making sure every step was perfect.  The Designers who let the charge with their production teams to get it all done.  The Offstage parents who help us to mount each and every show with all of their hard working volunteers.  There are just too many people to mention who are involved in an undertaking as big as the musical.  It is a team effort, and I am so lucky to be a part of this amazing, talented, and inspiring group of individuals.  Enjoy the show!
