Annie Klark
Director/Music Director
Annie Klark brings a background as singer, actor, music instructor, and music/theatre director. Annie graduated from the U of M with degrees in Vocal Music Performance and English Literature. She has been a frequent performer including productions at the Detroit Opera, JET, Friends of the Opera of Michigan, Ford Performing Arts Center, Toledo Opera, Trenton Village Theatre, the Henry Ford, and Marquis Theatre. She has toured nationally including the Detroit Opera, Auditorium Theatre Chicago, and the Dodworth Saxhorn Band. Annie has taught music lessons for over 20 years and has directed productions with the Toledo & Detroit Opera Education/Outreach Programs, Wild Swan Theatre, Michigan Music Center, Michigan Academy of Dance, and at Midwest schools. She has been Conductor of the Detroit Opera Youth Chorus Preparatory Choir. In 2012, Annie became the Co-Founder & Artistic Director of OpenSpot Theatre which teaches musical theatre to students with disabilities.

Christy Duffy
Producer
After years of believing she hated musical theater, Christy Duffy saw Wicked, and realized she didn’t know what she was talking about. That was 12 years ago, and in that time Christy has worked on more than a dozen shows and even created her own non-profit theater company, Midway Theater Company. She is forever grateful to have been introduced to Renaissance Academy.

Joanna-Korina Palaskas
Choreographer
Joanna Palaskas is a choreographer from Greece. She worked as a dancer with dance companies in productions playing in renowned Athenian theaters for 15 years. She has written and published two children's books.She owns a dance school and dance company in Athens. She has produced choreographed and directed four original plays in Athens. She has been working with children and adults of all ages for 15 years now. In the two years she has been in the US she has choreographed two musicals for Cranbrook Theater School, a winning choreography for a competitive dance company and a dance video. She is excited to watch our Renaissance players bring her choreography to life on stage with Beauty and the Beast.
