    Jeannette DeAngelo

    Director

     Jeannette serves as the newly elected President of the RCT Board of Directors and has been involved in many RCT shows as a performer and choreographer. She has also directed the RCT hit musicals SHREK, Forbidden Broadway, Camp Rock and the Berks County area premiere of The Happy Elf! In the fall of 2015, she directed the RCT production of Les Miserables: School Edition which was voted the Broadway World -Central Pa's Best Children's Production. She is a retired RSD math teacher and the co-founder and co-director of the YNOT Awards program of Berks County. She is also the director of Reading High's school show where she just celebrated her 44th year of involvement with this activity! She is the proud mom of Angela, our choreographer! Thank you to my amazing creative team and fabulously talented cast! I am honored and humbled to be given this wonderful opportunity to work with such a talented, dedicated and professional group of adults and students. Thank you for the memories!

    Assistant to the Director, Props Coordination

    Debbie has been on the board of RCT since 2011 and is the current secretary of the organization and in addition she owns Berks Water Technology in Sinking Spring with her husband Phil. This is Debbie’s sixth show working alongside Jeannette being the head of the props committee. She would like to congratulate the cast of Footloose on their amazing work and the crew, production team, and directors for creating a wonderful show.

    Music Director, Sound Execution

    Nate is thrilled to be music directing Reading Civic Theatre’s production of Footloose. This is his first show with RCT, and has worked with other local theater companies over the last five years. Footloose marks his twenty-third show serving as Music Director since 2012. Favorite productions include: The Addams Family, CATS, Godspell, The Last Five Years, and Chicago. Nate has also performed in many shows and played piano in the orchestra. Nate also serves as the Assistant Managing Director and Principal Music Director of the 1st Street Players in Birdsboro. Nate is currently a senior at Temple University in Philadelphia, where he studies Music Education with a concentration in Piano and choral music. There he sings in the Concert Choir, Graduate Conductors Chorus and Recital Chorus, and performs with the Night Owls Campus Community Band. He is a member of the American Choral Directors Association and National Association for Music Education.
