Jeff Mercer
as Larry (Zach's Assistant)
Jeff is performing in his second show at the Randall Theatre. He is originally from Reno, Nevada. Beginning his pursuit of theater in high school he found a love of all performance, including acting, singing, and dancing. Dancing, was not a strong suit to begin with. Luckily he came across a number of talented and supportive choreographers who made fantastic teachers. He continued to perform in college at TMCC in Reno, where he flourished as a performer. It was that desire to perform that brought him to Southern Oregon and its incredible theater community. Notable past performances include Spamalot , The Producers and, most recently, the Randall Theatre's production of Once Upon a Mattress.

Deborah Downward
as Cassie
At age 3, my dancer mother put me into ballet and tap classes! As the years progressed I started doing plays and musicals. Landing a few leads along the way, like Mary Madeline in Jesus Christ Superstar, and Ruby in Dames at Sea. At age 19 I moved to the island of Guam for my first professional performing job. During my 6 years on the island I was lucky to perform as part of an adiago team, and the lead singer as well as part of the cast. After leaving the island I continued performing on cruise ships for a few more years. I retired from dancing to pursue another profession, wife and mother. I started working with the Randall Theatre in the summer of 2012 as their choreographer. Since then I slowly started performing once again. You could have seen her in a few shows at the Randall such as Godspell, It's a wonderful life, Chicago or Once upon a Mattress. I pray this show touches your heart as it does mine!
