 Who's Who

  • Jenn Rian head shot

    Jenn Rian

    as Mrs. Manningham

This is Jenn's 6th R-ACT production. "This the most emotionally rich character I've ever had the pleasure to bring to life. When I first read the script, I fell in love with Bella and empathized deeply with her. Usually I make people laugh, tonight I hope to make them feel.  If I'm successful, the audience will intimately connect to Bella's joy and pain as she experiences the most intense night of her life. As a passionate advocate for mental health, this role is particularly meaningful for me.” Jenn was most recently seen as Sheila in the Bobcat Players’ Foolish Fish Girls. Jenn’s past R-ACT roles include Roz Hay (Moon Over Buffalo), Melody Brewster (Magnolias & Murder), Goldi Lox (Fractured Fairy Tales), Elaine Harper (Arsenic & Old Lace), and Lorinda Hamilton (Death & Doubloons). Jenn also played Mary Pringle (Little Beaver Historical Society's Soldier Come Home at Lincoln Park). Jenn is a mother of two, CCBC Psychology major, and yoga instructor.

  • Eric J. McAnallen head shot

    Eric J. McAnallen

    as Mr. Manningham

Eric has appeared on many local stages over his thirty years in community theatre, mostly favoring comedy roles. Tonight he leaves his comedic chops behind to inhabit the enigmatic and decidedlymelodramatic Jack Manningham. Some of his favorite roles include George Hay in Moon Over Buffalo, Nick Bottom in A Midsummer’s Night Dream, and Mike in Wait Until Dark. Eric earned a degree in creative writing from CMU but a firm grip on reality and a love of material goods has kept him from pursuing a career as a professional playwright. Despite that, some of his plays, including Imaginary Exits and The Princess and the Great Gold Dragon, have recently appeared on local stages. Eric lives in Ellwood City with his wife, Misa and a school of fish named Steve.
