Joe Michaels
Director
Joe Michaels is an eight-time Emmy award-winning director and a two-time Director’s Guild of America honoree. The Director of NBC’s Today show for 20 years, Joe began his career in television as an associate director and director for NBC Sports. Hundreds of millions of fans watched his work on other Emmy-winning telecasts including The World Series, The Super Bowl, Wimbledon Tennis, Olympics, NBC Game of the Week, Orange Bowl, Hula Bowl, and NBC Sports World. Joe has directed commercials, stage productions, and special events. A graduate of Seton Hall University, he was honored in 2013 as its Most Distinguished Alumni of the Year. A resident of Wilton for over 20 years, Joe is happy to return to the Wilton Playshop after 24 years when he directed Love Letters in 1999. He is happy to be working with such a great cast and production team on this wonderful musical.

Sarah Lee Michaels
Music Director
Sarah Lee Michaels has performed in local, regional, and Off-Broadway as a singer/dancer/actor, and as a musical director, producer, choreographer, and vocal coach. Sarah’s recent productions include Wizard of Oz (as musical director), Evita, Art, [title of show], Lion in Winter, Jekyll and Hyde (as producer). Her favorite acting credits include Eva Peron (Evita) Sheila (A Chorus Line) Beggar Woman (Sweeney Todd) Mary Magdalene (Jesus Christ Superstar) Fastrada (Pippin) and in national tours (Bob Hope Shows, Ziegfeld Follies, Will Rogers Follies). She is the Executive Producer of the Wilton Playshop. Sarah owns The Voice Studio of Performing Arts and is the Artistic/Musical Director of Break A Leg Productions, LLC, a youth musical theater training program formed with Christine Titus. She holds a master’s degree in music from Boston Univ. where she is completing her PhD. Sarah thanks her family, Tony and the entire team for such a collaborative opportunity!

Robyn Mola
Lighting and Audio Engineer
Robyn Mola is a 2012 Graduate of Full Sail University, and holds a Degree in Show Production. After college, Robyn went on to persue a career in Television Broadcast as a Mobile TV Engineer. She has worked directly with WWE, Turner Basketball, Fox NFL, Australia’s The Voice and Australia’s Ninja Warrior. In 2020, Robyn went on to win a daytime Emmy for her work as “Engineer in Charge” on The People’s Court. She now serves on the board of Rising Stars Performing Arts in Norwalk as their Technical Director.
