Megan Kelly Bates
Megan (Director/Choreographer) is over the moon to be presenting Six: The Musical Teen Edition through Preston Center Dance. She is the General Manager of PCD and has been the Director of the Musical Theater Department for 17 years. Megan has worked on and off the DFW stages for the last 20 years as an actor, choreographer and assistant director. She was named Best Actress in D Magazine 2013 “Best of” for her performance in Avenue Q; and named “Best Belter” in The Dallas Observer's 2008 Best of. She graduated from OCU with a Bachelor of Music and proceeded to NY where she was cast as Ishmael in Moby Dick The Musical performed at the Duke Theater on 42nd Street and Broadway. Megan can be heard on the cast album. She lives in Carrollton with her husband and 3 amazing daughters. The entire family knows all the lyrics to SIX. Megan is very grateful to her amazing creative team and cast for sharing their talents to help make this show possible.

Ms. Mac (Music Director/Assistant Director) is ecstatic to be on the production team of Six: The Musical: Teen Edition! She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Music Education degree and has her masters. She is the resistant Music Director for Preston Center Dance and has been teaching at PCD since 2017. Currently she is the Choir Director at HPMS where she has taught for 9 years. Next year she will be working full time at PCD as the Creative Director and Corporate Administrator along with Co-Director of Musical Theater! She is so proud of the creative team and cast for putting on such a historical show at PCD and is making history!
